{"id":8805,"date":"2026-08-07T15:01:43","date_gmt":"2026-08-07T12:01:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/spcsb.md\/?p=8805"},"modified":"2026-08-20T15:33:31","modified_gmt":"2026-08-20T12:33:31","slug":"programul-national-pentru-prevenirea-si-combaterea-spalarii-banilor-finantarii-terorismului-si-a-proliferarii-armelor-de-distrugere-in-masa-pentru-anii-2026-2030","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/spcsb.md\/en\/programul-national-pentru-prevenirea-si-combaterea-spalarii-banilor-finantarii-terorismului-si-a-proliferarii-armelor-de-distrugere-in-masa-pentru-anii-2026-2030\/","title":{"rendered":"National Program for Preventing and Combating Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing, and the Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction for 2026\u20132030"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"section-g-fgswgdg\" class=\"section-g-fgswgdg gutentor-element gutentor-element-advanced-text wp-block-gutentor-e1 text-align-justify-desktop\"><div class=\"gutentor-text-wrap\"><p class=\"gutentor-text\">On August 7, 2026, the FIU Moldova, with the support of the Council of Europe project PGG III \"Strengthening the anti-money laundering and asset recovery regime in the Republic of Moldova,\" organized an event dedicated to presenting the National Program on Preventing and Combating Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing, and the Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction for 2026\u20132030, as well as the Action Plan for its implementation.<br><br>The national program and the associated action plan were approved by Parliament Decision No. 140\/2026\u2014documents establishing the national strategic framework for strengthening the system to prevent and combat money laundering, the financing of terrorism, and the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction for the coming years.<br><br>During the meeting, the strategic priorities of the National Program, the implementation framework and measures, the responsibilities of the involved institutions, and the mechanisms for coordination and progress monitoring were presented, while also highlighting the steps necessary for the effective execution of the actions established for the 2026\u20132030 period.<br><br>Through the implementation of the aforementioned national program, the Republic of Moldova aims to strengthen an efficient and sustainable national system for preventing and combating money laundering, the financing of terrorism, and the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, capable of adequately responding to existing and emerging risks and challenges.<br><br>Implementing the envisaged measures will contribute to enhancing the efficiency of mechanisms for preventing, detecting, investigating, and combating related phenomena, as well as to strengthening the institutional capacities of competent authorities and inter-institutional cooperation at both national and international levels.
