{"id":8601,"date":"2026-04-23T16:30:15","date_gmt":"2026-04-23T13:30:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/spcsb.md\/?p=8601"},"modified":"2026-05-14T16:41:27","modified_gmt":"2026-05-14T13:41:27","slug":"spcsb-isi-dezvolta-expertiza-in-investigarea-tranzactiilor-suspecte-cu-criptoactive-prin-schimb-de-experienta-cu-autoritatile-ue","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/spcsb.md\/en\/spcsb-isi-dezvolta-expertiza-in-investigarea-tranzactiilor-suspecte-cu-criptoactive-prin-schimb-de-experienta-cu-autoritatile-ue\/","title":{"rendered":"FIU enhances its expertise in investigating suspicious transactions involving crypto assets through the exchange of experience with EU authorities"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"section-g-q7t1vte\" class=\"wp-block-gutentor-e1 section-g-q7t1vte gutentor-element gutentor-element-advanced-text text-align-justify-desktop\"><div class=\"gutentor-text-wrap\"><p class=\"gutentor-text\">    Between April 22-23, 2026, a delegation of the Republic of Moldova, consisting of representatives of the Office for the Prevention and Fight against Money Laundering, the National Bank of Moldova, the Ministry of Finance, the State Fiscal Service and the National Financial Market Commission, conducted a study visit to Frankfurt, Germany.<br><br>    Vizita a fost organizat\u0103 \u00een cadrul proiectului extrabugetar al OSCE, \u201e<em>Solu\u021bii inovatoare de politici pentru atenuarea riscurilor de sp\u0103lare a banilor reprezentate de activele virtuale<\/em>\u201d, implementat de Oficiul Coordonatorului pentru Activit\u0103\u021bi Economice \u0219i de Mediu al OSCE (OCEEA), cu sprijinul financiar al Germaniei, Italiei, Poloniei, Regatului Unit al Marii Britanii \u0219i Irlandei de Nord, precum \u0219i Statelor Unite ale Americii.<br><br>    The event, organized by the OSCE and hosted by the European Central Bank (ECB), included meetings with representatives of the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin), the EU Anti-Money Laundering Authority (AMLA) and the ECB, as well as a separate session between the SPCSB and its German counterpart.<br>    <br>     The discussions focused on key issues related to the transposition of the European Union Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA), the licensing and supervision standards applicable to crypto-asset service providers (CASP), the national assessment of money laundering and terrorist financing (ML\/FT) risks in the crypto-asset sector, the reporting requirements for suspicious transactions and activities, as well as the methods of analysis and investigation of suspected ML\/FT cases involving crypto-assets.
