Evenimentul a avut loc \u00een cadrul proiectului \u201e<em>Consolidarea regimului de combatere a sp\u0103l\u0103rii banilor \u0219i de recuperare a activelor \u00een Republica Moldova<\/em>\u201d, finan\u021bat de <em>Uniunea European\u0103 \u0219i Consiliul Europei.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\" data-start=\"675\" data-end=\"1193\" class=\"translation-block\">The workshop brought together national and international experts, including representatives of the Anti-Money Laundering Service, the National Bank and other relevant authorities, to discuss models for regulating and licensing VASPs, aligned with the requirements of the European Union and FATF. The main goal was to <strong>strengthen the national legislative framework for the authorization and supervision of the activities of virtual asset providers<\/strong>, in order to prevent and combat money laundering and terrorist financing.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\" data-start=\"1195\" data-end=\"1660\">\u00a0\u00a0 The event provided a valuable opportunity to exchange experiences and best practices in regulating the sector, while also providing a conducive framework for discussions on the next stage in implementing an effective supervisory system.
